yne Whiting On behalf of the Kansas High School Rodeo Association, I would like to welcome you to the 2015 Kan-
National Director sas High School Finals Rodeo. It has been ten tough weekends of competition, and KHSRA is proud of
the hard work shown by all competitors. We are so very lucky to have the level of competition that we
have here in the great state of Kansas. The level of commitment and the strong drive to be successful
that each one of our members has shown throughout the year has raised the bar for our Kansas kids.
Even though this is such an exciting time for KHSRA it is a little hard on us for we have to say good bye
to our seniors. They have provided KHSRA with some outstanding memories and set some pretty high
standards for the rodeo team to follow. KHSRA board would like to say thank you to all our seniors and
their families who have been a big part of our KHSRA and will always be part of our rodeo family. 2015
has brought many changes though-out the year. This week is the culmination of hard work from many
people and KHSRA would like to extend a sincere thanks to each and every one of them for all of their
contributions of time, energy, and talents. Thursday and Friday will begin our 2015 Kansas High School
Rodeo rounds one and two and Saturday will be the conclusion of our final short go around. While only
the top four competitors in each event will continue onto Nationals, each and every contestant is a winner
in the eyes of KHSRA and our extended rodeo family. Good luck to all and thank you for being with us
during the next few days and supporting the KHSRA.

Paige Wiseman Get ready to rock & ride with the Kansas High School Rodeo Association right here in Topeka,
Student President KS!
This has been an unforgettable year! I would like to thank my fellow officers & buddies Hannah
Holland & Timber Allenbrand. Also our dedicated board, our tried & true secretaries & our rocking
President Troy Brunson! Special memories from last fall are hosting Garden City middle school
boys from the Real Men Leaders Program. The boys attended the Garden City KHSRA rodeo and
received, among other things, cowboy hats donated and autographed personally by our mem-
bers! This spring we celebrated “Grandparents Day” at Dodge City, KS. They were recognized
and greeted upon their arrival with lapel pins, gift bags and cold water. The Grandparents were
honored though out the day.
Rodeo is not possible without our sponsors. We appreciate every new and continuing loyal sup-
porter. Doc Miller… WE LOVE you!!! We appreciate the top notch care you provide. We look out-
standing in our leather coats! You are a pillar of our association.
In closing, I would like to leave you with words from Rhonda Byrne. “ Our natural state of being
is JOY. It takes so much energy to think negative thoughts, to speak negative words and feel
miserable. The easy path is GOOD THOUGHTS, GOOD WORDS, and GOOD DEEDS! Take the
EASY path!”
Good Luck & God Bless!
