uddy Adams I would like to welcome you to the 2016 Kansas High School Finals Rodeo. We have had eleven tough
Na onal Director weekends of competition, and KHSRA is proud of the hard work shown by all competitors. We are so
very lucky to have the level of competition that we have here in the great state of Kansas. The level of
commitment and the strong drive to be successful that each one of our members has shown throughout
the year has raised the bar for our Kansas kids. Even though this is such an exciting time for KHSRA it
is a little hard on us for we have to say good bye to our seniors. They have provided KHSRA with some
outstanding memories and set some pretty high standards for the rodeo team to follow. KHSRA board
would like to say thank you to all our seniors and their families who have been a big part of our KHSRA
and will always be part of our rodeo family. 2016 has brought many changes though-out the year includ-
ing our first Border Bash with our neighbors to the south, Oklahoma.
This week ends a lot of hard work from many people and KHSRA would like to extend a sincere thanks
to each and every one of them for all of their contributions of time, energy, and talents. Thursday and
Friday will begin our 2016 Kansas High School Rodeo rounds one and two and with Saturday finishing
up our finals with the short go around that will determine or top four competitors in each event that will
continue onto Nationals in Gillette, WY.
Troy Brunson As the President of the Kansas High School Rodeo Association I want to welcome everyone to the great-
Adult President est sport in America, It has been a great season. We have the greatest group of Student
Athletes here in Kansas and I want to say thank you to the parents that support each and
every one of them. Also I want to thank everyone for the endless hours of help that it takes
to put on every rodeo week after week. This Association is truly blessed. I can’t wait to be a
part of the representation that Kansas will have in Rock Springs. I want to give special
thanks to all of KHSRA sponsors we could not do this without you! Thank You!!!
I want to thank Justin and the Kansas Expo Centre for their hard work and providing us
with a great Facility for our State Finals!
We will miss the seniors as they depart but want to make sure they know they are always
apart of the KHSRA Family!
It has been my privilege to work with each and everyone involved in the KHSRA this 2014-
2015 season.
Good Luck!!
Timber Allenbrand Congratulations and good luck to all of the KHSRA rodeo contestants this week in Topeka, KS!
Student President This has been an amazing year! Thank you to all of my fellow board members that have put end-
less time and effort in to make our association successful.
Thank you all for your participation and support last fall with the Real Men, Real Leaders group!
It was a highlight in my year to see the boys in their donated hats and coats watching us com-
pete. The Halloween party was one to remember, as well as “Messy Twister” this spring! Our
association would not be complete without our generous sponsors and committed family and
friends. The financial backing given by individuals and companies make it possible for us to com-
pete in the sport we love.
I believe, as Chris LeDoux once said, “If your actions inspire other to dream more, learn more,
do more, and become more, you are a leader.” I am honored to have been your Student Presi-
dent, and wish you all the best in the future!
