Sponsorship & Other Forms
For sponsorships — the first $450 for High School and the first $300 for Jr. High is sponsorship from the contestant themselves. Anything above that minimum is described in the levels below. So if a High School member turns in $500 from a sponsor, $450 of that is sponsorship of the contestant themselves and $50 is the amount counted for KHSRA sponsorship and determines the level of sponsorship outlined below.

Queen Contest Information

- (1) color 8x10 vertical photograph — head and shoulders only, no full lengths, no crown or banner. Picture can be turned in prior to taking test or personal interview.
- 2 Minute Speech Topic: Contestant is to speak about her country, state or province, or on anything with a western theme.
- Speech / Modeling Attire: Collar rule has been changed to OPTIONAL — dresses do not have to have a collar. All other attire rules remain the same.
- Horsemanship Attire: CINCH/CRUEL GIRL blue denim jeans must be worn. The rest of the required horsemanship attire stays the same. Contestants will be expected to carry a flag as part of horsemanship competition.
- Girls will be allowed to wear their dresses for the personal interviews to help with the cost of the contest.
